As I’m sure you’ve seen on the internet, lots of writers and illustrators are producing free content for lockdown. I’m not very good at videos, so I’ve done something else instead.

Staying Home is a picture book all about a family in lockdown. It’s illustrated by the fabulous Viviane Schwarz, and it’s available FREE to download on the Andersen Press website.

I really hope you like it. It’s published under a creative commons license, which means you can read it and share it as much as you like (please do!) as long as you attribute it to us, and don’t change it. Several people have asked if they can make videos of themselves reading it or share it to their school community. That’s a definite YES.

Neither Viviane, Andersen or myself are making any money out of this – it’s a free gift to families struggling with lockdown. If you enjoy it and want to thank us, please share the link widely.
